Grenville Crest runs entirely online. You open an account, move money, and check where things stand from wherever you happen to be — there is no branch to get to before closing time.
That shapes what we build. Balances update as transactions settle rather than overnight. Statements and transaction history are exportable. When something needs a human, you reach one by email and get a written answer you can keep.
We do a small number of things and try to do them properly: holding funds, moving them between accounts, and showing you an accurate record of both.
We would rather be clear about limits than oversell. Where a transfer takes time to clear, the account says so and shows the funds as pending. Where a fee applies, it appears before you confirm, not on the statement afterwards.
Access is protected by a one-time code at sign-in, and every transfer is recorded with a timestamp you can review. If activity appears that you do not recognise, tell us and we will freeze the account while we look into it.
We ask for identity documents when you open an account because we are required to, and we tell you what each one is used for. We do not sell customer information.
A current account for the money you spend, with a card and instant transfers.
A separate balance for money you are setting aside, kept apart from spending.
Send money to a saved recipient, and see when it clears rather than guessing.
Freeze and unfreeze a card yourself, without waiting for anyone to pick up.
Statements and full transaction history, exportable whenever you need them.
Written answers by email, so you keep a record of what you were told.
